Thixotropic, dimethacrylate ester acrylic thread locker for locking and sealing threaded fasteners requiring disassembly with standard hand tools. LOCTITE® 246 is a blue, opaque, thixotropic, dimethacrylate ester acrylic thread locker. It is particularly suitable for heavy-duty applications, such as bolts used in transmissions, construction equipment or railroad assemblies where resistance to heavy shock, vibration and stress levels is required along with exposure to elevated temperatures.
