H Bushings are similar to P bushings, but with a head to resist heavy axial loads. Type H bushings are permanently pressed into the jig plate. H bushings are generally used for single-operation drilling or reaming when you do not expect to replace bushings during the tooling lifetime. The head of type H bushings can be left exposed, or recessed by counterboring the installation hole.
