Oil Only Sock, 3 in. x 48 in.

Oil-Only Socks measure 48" long with a 3" diameter, with 30 socks included per box. MBT’s spun-bond-covered socks are soft and stretchable, designed to contain and absorb runaway fluids, most commonly to prevent fluids from spilling out into walkways or open drains, and oil-only socks are white-coloured, tubular sleeves filled with super-absorbent, melt blown polypropylene particulate, designed to skim oil off the surface of water in a sump or bilge. These oleophilic and hydrophobic socks absorb hydrocarbon-based fluids (oil, gasoline, diesel, hydraulic fluids, etc.) and can also be used for general maintenance when wrapped around the bases of leaky equipment. MBT’s socks are also useful for emergencies, and the durable spun bond sleeve absorbs and draws fluids into the fluffy, fibrous centre of the fabric.
