LOCTITE® LB 8028 is a high quality, molybdenum-disulfide-based lubricant that resists galling in extreme pressure applications. This product provides excellent lubrication for running in new or rebuilt machinery. During assembly, it prevents high friction, galling and seizing and promotes uniform and predictable clamping. It is used to prevent galling during start-up operations, extend the wear life of moving parts, and protect against fretting and cold welding of moving joints. This product is typically used in applications with an operating range of -30 °C to 398 °C.
